Huawei seems to be working on a special edition of the MediaPad M6 launched at the end of June. Some leak images show the device in fact in a new version that should be launched on the market as “Turbo Edition”.
Just a few months ago, in fact, Huawei launched the new MediaPad M6 range and, to date, seems to want to already expand the line with a new edition.
The new version should have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (unlike the previous standard version of 4GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage), but both powered by Kirin 980. Like the standard version, it should have an 8.4″ display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. There may be no difference even for the cameras, remaining unchanged we’ll probably find a 13 Megapixel main rear camera and an 8 Megapixel front camera. The tablet could be based on Android 9 with EMUI 9.1 version.
The “substantial” difference should be the presence of an extra button on the right side of the tablet, but at the moment we do not know how it works (certainly referred to as TURBO), in addition to the volume and the classic power button. Besides, it should offer a liquid cooling system for PC, a gamepad and a protective case, which make you think of a device optimized for gaming.
At the moment we don’t know when the device could be launched on the market, and we don’t have any details about the price.
