Microsoft will sell office licenses for several billion dollars

Microsoft’s sales department just had reason to celebrate. Because in the coming years can sell licenses for office products worth several billion dollars. The US military has closed an invitation to tender and awarded contracts to several intermediaries.
The US government’s tender involved a total budget of 7.6 billion dollars. Over the next ten years, the service providers awarded contracts are to provide office applications including e-mail, calendars, and video conferencing systems for US military administrative staff.
The US company General Dynamics, which provides numerous services for the military, secured the lion’s share of this major order, which runs under the name Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS). Smaller shares also go to Dell Marketing and the Minburn Technology Group. What all three companies have in common is that they have compiled their offerings based on Microsoft Office products and will purchase licenses in Redmond accordingly.
And Microsoft was already involved in the preparation of the offers.
